Origin of the museum
The Rossimoda Museum began functioning based on a project undertaken by Luigino Rossi, president of the shoe factory, whose will was to display the most representative items created by his company in the course of its activity. The structure was inaugurated on June 24th 1995, on the fiftieth year anniversary of the firm.
The Rossimoda Company produces luxurious women's footwear, thanks to their internationally known high fashion, top quality trademark licences. The complete supervision of all the production stages allows the company maximum discretion, essential to handle relations with the fashion industry.
